For 70 years the aping of behaviors related to 1920s illiberal groups (like the German NSDAP and Italian Fascists) has been tacitly supported by those who do not want Whites to organize in their interests as Whites. They know that the White middle class is struggling (disappearing, really) and could be organized to be pro-White to some degree or another, especially given that anti-White 'multiculturalism' is increasingly adversely affecting the life of the White middle class. So, of course, rather than moderate anti-White policies, the ruling class prefers to promote forms of 'pro-White' that are highly dysfunctional and off-putting.
That's why you're seeing this behavior promoted by the media.
Because of the intensity of anti-White cultural intervention, the vast majority of people in the 'pro-White' movement are cranks to some degree or another. You have to be to hold a view whose very existence is heresy.
Still, more 'serious' White people are coming to recognize that the ruling class is making 'being while consciously White' a crime and are not keen to go quietly (or allow their children and grand-children to live second-class lives in order to make non-Whites 'comfortable' in North America).
The neo-Nazi swamp must be drained. These people are content to reside within their marginal subculture without any influence within the larger society.

The regime is crafting an opposition that suits its purposes, one that energizes regime supporters and deters whites from mobilizing in our defense. The situation is obvious. Over time even normies will pick up on it. The law of diminishing marginal returns will set in, if it has not already begun to do so.
In the meantime the way forward requires the Jared Taylor approach: dignity, integrity, an absence of malice and rancour, a focus on evidence based arguments.
The pool from which to draw or develop quality leadership is increasing rapidly. As more white males become excluded from, or marginalized within, the system the opportunity costs of dissent fall. The antics of extremists and misfits helps raise consciousness of what not to do.

There are certainly worse people than Jared Taylor in the movement, but I check out amren's comment section from time to and time and the tenor of the arguments isn't always reassuring, to put it delicately. It feels like they're substituting blacks for jews when it comes to the Two Minutes Hate. (Granted, the former are more likely to cause trouble by most raw social indicators.)
