Sounds bad either way for the native-born white working class and poor.

If you believe that Providence saved Trump's life, you'd better believe that Providence wants Trump to do something on immigration, because the graphic that saved his life pertained to curbing illegal immigration!

Here is a perfectly "classical liberal" solution to the problem that stems immigration in the first place: how about rising wages of those jobs nobody want to do anymore?

Less demand for such jobs by the workforce should lead to more offer in the form of monetary compensation, that's the invisible hand at work.

Sweeping streets would earn you a salary comparable to that of a clerk, and cleaning toilets way more.

If locals get the pick first, this would relieve immigration, and also clean up centres of learning from strivers and more in general from those only interested in their own ambition and career, leaving the field free for those who are mainly there for the pleasure of intellectual pursuit.

All this would be eventually at the expense of multicorporations and the rich class, who reap the benefits from everyone else's rat race, so will never be implemented, much less even proposed. I always wonder why people have never thought at a simple solution like that

"-Trump will welcome the 2nd wave of Ukrainian refugees after throwing Ukraine under the bus to Russia."

I think that he will seek to freeze the existing front lines and massively increase US aid to Ukraine if Russia will refuse, no?

"-If a Democrat is elected to the White House, expect a big acceleration in immigration of South Americans, Africans, Muslims, South Asians, and Chinese. "

So, Democrats want BOTH cognitive elites AND working-classes while Republicans only, or at least primarily, want cognitive elites?

I doubt this guy is right. Trump has shown himself to be for Americans, so this guy sounds like a democrat. No offense but the similarities are too cogruent . The dems want to condemn Trump at every angle. This sounds like a hit piece disguised as an Op Ed.
