This story makes me sad. Talented, articulate, outgoing, with good degrees, and clearly eager to participate. He was a praised and valued counselor in a Stanford student program. What a waste now. I do believe there's at least some degree of mental illness involved in his sudden change with family and friends

The connecting tissue of his views is narcissism. He hasn’t met a problem that doesn’t require him the dictate the solution and force people into compliance.
Since America is all about identity, do you suppose there will be some discussion of the Italian identity? The fellow looks quite ethnic, and initial conjectures based on the small visual cues that existed were about "illegals" or Muslims. But I suppose Italians are firmly included in the white category now so they wouldn't be subjected to the "minorities behaving badly" rubric on the right.

At the moment, males still greatly outnumber females in the tech field. If women want to participate more in this field, more will do so over time. Thus, I believe the article’s suggestions to close the gender gap are unnecessary and artificial.
