Beautiful piece! I was recently exploring what Spengler called the “Second Religioussness”, which made me comprehend further that as a civilizational phenomenon it transcends the political in a sense. Thus with the second wave of religiousness, Lebensreform in Europe and the third Great Awakening in America, we see the phenomenon manifest itself across the political spectrum.

Also it is nice to see some contributions on the continuity of Crowley’s work in elements of the new age movements, there is definitely a gap in the literature on that.

Ordinarily I would say "thank your for reading my book" but since you quote nothing from it I have no reason to think you have; nor do I have any reason to think you've read Stark's review. Apparently you expect your readers to simply accept your views without any evidence; rather guru-like, don't you think?

The most laughable part of your "cheery" response is that if you had read my book, you would have noticed that it is, in fact, devoted to the third of your "well-known reasons why the Left was ideologically dominant in the West", which is "The Left looks to the future; the Right is past-orientated." All of the figures discussed are future-oriented (except, as you correctly note, Evola and other trads, who are criticized precisely for that reason) and I recommend them to the dissident Right for that reason.

Speaking of the future, your criticism of Prometheism and Apollonianism is laughable: they haven't taken over the world in 3 years! And how long did Christianity take, or Islam? Your "immediate gratification" mindset doesn't seem very White.

The basic fallacy in your screed (which is really the literary version of a soy-faced point and sputter meme) might be called "Nothing-but-ism". It's like the way the TRS crowd anathematizes any discussion or concern with anything but The One Issue: The Jooze. Time devoted to Ukraine or Gaza or Covid etc. is simply a time wasted that could have been devoted to The Jooze; in fact, it's a distraction created by the Jooze for that very purpose!

In reality, of course, one can very easily think about or even do more than one thing at a time. In fact, the Left, which you consider to be successful and even dominant, devotes lots of attention to mystical matters, to the extent that New Age = Left in most people's minds; again, this is a theme throughout the book. Perhaps the "success" and "dominance" of the Left, like its future-orientation, has something to do with its New Age thinking?

In any event, there's nothing in my book that would distract anyone from the sort of gritty, hands-on, pragmatic, on the ground, down in the trenches political work on behalf of the White race that you devote yourself to in ... Singapore.

BTW, I feel I must point out that Manticore Press is quite independent and not at all "aligned with" Counter-Currents, whatever you are trying to insinuate (another less than White trait).

Try-hard "refutation" of an article that advocates not wasting time on irrelevant intellectual try-hardism. I get it there will be a few hobbyists who get off on this weird form of intellectual porn/masturbation. I am just making the point that it should clearly label itself as a weird form of intellectual porn/masturbation rather than attempt to pass itself off as something with wider relevance.

That was complete word salad and I am disappointed in your waste of my time. Wtf man?!

Yes, I probably am wasting your time. I suggest remedial reading class would be a better use of it. That or simple Pavlovian conditioning so you can be of some use to society.

As opposed to the usefulness of posting nonsense reviews in comment sections?

You’re an irreplaceable pillar of society. Without your work, it would crumble immediately.
