My last experience was in 2007. I had direct contact with God. Very profound and spiritual experience. My trip was in the town of Mendocino on the north coast.
"Crucially, the nature of the music experience was significantly predictive of reductions in depression 1 week after psilocybin, whereas general drug intensity was not."
I have to concur that this is the most effective way to use psychedelics, if what you are interested in is personal growth. I took shrooms a number of times when I was younger with friends, typically outdoors. It would be euphoric and fun, but ultimately it was just an experience and I didn't take anything away from it.
Cultures which had these substances developed rituals quite similar to the current therepeautic model for a reason, I believe. Anyway, that is just my two cents. If you do a pscyhedelic again, I would encourage you to do a trip like that!
Check out as much from Terence McKenna on YT as you can & try it the “traditional” manner.
-5g on an empty stomach in silent darkness.
Weigh them out. Chew them up. Lay down, be sill, close your eyes, & hold on!
Takes 1.5 hr until the peak. Once you think you just can’t stand it any longer it’ll be over & you’ll want to share everything with others. Don’t! Lay back down & relax. You cannot get off in the presence of another person.
The visions (visual & auditory) will come at you only when you relax & have zero external sensory input.
This is the therapeutic dose that heals trauma you don’t know you had, neurotically & spiritually.

I extremely disapprove and hate all drug users.

In clinical trials, which are currently showing dramatic improvements in patient wellbeing, the typical protocol is to lay down with a blindfold and headphones on and listen to a musical playlist (like https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/articles/2020/10/inside-the-johns-hopkins-psilocybin-playlist) .

Neurologically*.. yea neurotically as well 😅.
I’ve been micro dosing at work & it’s basically worthless. 5g, 1x/yr is enough to reset your system.
