Most people sort of know this deep down, subconsciously yet lack the intelligence to consciously think and talk about this. Perhaps it would make people less resentful of each other and think and act in terms of reciprocity. However, tearing down noble lies might also cause a breakdown in society and mass democracy. Political elites are invested in convincing everyone that their interests are the same and offer one size fits all solutions. This relates to pan-enclavism and pluralist politics such as offering specialized plans to different demographics.
